In 2023, Anita launched Camelback Productions, Arizona’s first South Asian, female-owned film company, focused on bold, underrepresented stories. Its debut film, Doin’ It starring Lilly Singh, premiered at SXSW 2024 and releases September 2025 in theaters. Through Camelback Productions, she recently launched a private equity film fund dedicated to projects that uplift South Asian and underrepresented voices in Hollywood. She is also signed with United Talent Agency (UTA) to expand her influence across capital, storytelling, and innovation.
Named an Outstanding Woman in Business 2025 in the Phoenix Business Journal, Anita is equally known for her wide-reaching philanthropy. She recently raised over $800,000 with Jay Shetty for Baby2Baby, aiding victims of the LA fires. Through visionary leadership and impact-driven ventures, Anita continues to build at the intersection of capital, culture, and community.
